CORES™ Responder Management
Collaborative Fusion, Inc.™ (CFI) offers the CORES™ Responder Management Module as part of the CORES™ Platform providing a standards compliant web-based system for the secure registration, credential verification, management, and deployment of both pre-registered and spontaneous responders in the event of a natural or man-made disaster. The CORES Responder Management Module is 100% compliant with the federal ESAR-VHP Technical and Policy Guidelines (June 2005 and June 2007) and exceeds industry-related security standards. The CORES Responder Management Module ensures readily available, verifiable, and up-to-date information regarding a volunteer's identity, licenses, credential verification status, and employment information as well as tools to notify and manage the deployment of responders. The CORES Responder Management Module includes all hardware, software, licenses, training, help desk, and implementation support and is a complete turnkey solution.
The CORES™ Responder Management Module provides:
- Registration of medical, healthcare, and non-healthcare responders
- Application of emergency credentialing standards to registered responders
- The ability to verify the identity, credentials, and qualifications of registered responders in an emergency with the responder's prior authorization or acknowledgement
CORES™ Responder Management Module Features
Registration
The CORES Responder Management Module supports registration of both medical and non-medical responders and volunteers as well as specific teams. The CORES Responder Management Module collects all of the information required by the ESARVHP guidelines and can be configured to collect a virtually unlimited amount of additional data that may be required.
Credentialing
The CORES Platform is engineered to integrate with the range of state, national, and federal data sources necessary to obtain and verify a volunteer's credential information. CFI's integration with credential information sources allows volunteers to be assigned an Emergency Credential Level (ECL) as described in and required by the federal ESARVHP Guidelines. The application of ECLs is accomplished automatically by an algorithm programmed into the CORES Responder Management Module. The CORES Responder Management Module also enables administrators to re-verify credentials immediately prior to an actual deployment and will automatically re-verify credentials on a daily basis.
Mission Management
CORES Mission Manager™ makes the CORES Responder Management Module the only system on the market today enabling administrators to electronically track volunteers from initial registration all the way through to deployment and demobilization. CORES Mission Manager also includes tools to track a responder's field deployment status and can assist in the completion of after-action reports and reimbursement paperwork.
In 2005, the CORES Platform was deployed extensively for response to Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, making it the only system that was utilized on a national basis during these disasters. During the response, the CORES Platform was used by 12 states to register thousands of volunteers, several hundred of whom were deployed to Gulf Coast states. The CORES Platform was also extensively utilized during the 2007 California wildfires and the 2008 hurricane season.
Reporting
The CORES Responder Management Module includes over 20 standard system reports to provide administrators with management-level visibility into the responder population. Examples of these reports include responder licenses that are expired or expiring, responder count by occupations, responder count by units, currently available responders, users currently logged in, and user registration histories. As part of our implementation process, CFI will train administrators to design other types of reports and ensure that all reports are tailored to your needs.
Hosting and Security
The CORES Responder Management Module is built on the CORES Platform's role-based access control model to ensure superior performance and industry exceeding security. Using this security model, each user is granted permissions using pre-set roles ensuring confidential information stays secure and access is controlled.
All CORES Platform Modules are redundant across multiple Tier IV and SAS-70 Type II certified data centers. Additional security features include:
- 128/256-bit EV SSL encryption
- Hardened operating system software
- Intrusion detection and intrusion prevention systems
- Enterprise-class firewall and management appliances
- Optional two-factor authentication
